Prof. Dr. Arzu Arı Demirkaya
Academic History Dr. Ari Demirkaya has completed her dental training at the University of Istanbul, in 1992. She obtained her PhD in orthodontics at Marmara University, in 1999, and started teaching at the same department in 2001 until 2008. Dr. Ari Demirkaya has been heading the orthodontic department of the private dental hospital Dentistanbul from 2010 to 2014. Since 2014, she is Head of the Department of Orthodontics at Okan University in Istanbul. Achievements Other than treating all types of orthodontic disorders with state-of-the-art methods, she especially applies and teaches lingual orthodontics, works on cleft lip and palate treatment, orthognatic surgery, and temporomandibular disorders.

Dentist I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul Medipol University in 2024. During my undergraduate education, I worked as a dental intern at Medipol Esenler Hospital for two years. In this high–patient-volume clinical setting, I actively participated in a wide range of cases and gained advanced hands-on clinical experience. Throughout my university education, I further enhanced my professional knowledge and clinical skills by completing observational and practical training in various private dental clinics during the summer terms.
